UL Listed Narrow Backset Mortise Lock


UL Listed Narrow backset lock doors requiring narrow backset locks. Featuring Emergency Egress (single-action egress). On functions with latch and deadbolts, activating the inside handle will retract latch bolt and deadbolt simultaneously. Compatible with Accurate levers, roses and escutcheons or most other manufacturers’ trim.

  • 8500 Series comes standard with a 1 1/4″ wide faceplate
  • 8600 Series comes standard with a 1″ wide faceplate

    • UL Listed for 90 minutes.
    • Featuring Emergency Egress (single-action egress): On functions with latch and deadbolts, activating the inside handle, will retract latch bolt and deadbolt simultaneously.
    • 1-1/4", 1-1/2", 1-3/4", 2", 2-1/4" backsets standard.
    • For door stiles 2-3/8" or wider.
    • Heavy gauge, plated steel cage (27/32" thick).
    • Adjustable bevel brass, bronze, or stainless steel armor front, finished as required.
    • Brass, solid type latch bolt 1/2" throw.
    • Brass deadbolt, 1" throw. Other throw sizes available as a custom order. Please call for assistance.
    • 4-7/8" ASA Strike.
    • Hubs available in different sizes to be compatible with various trims.
    • Thumb turn hub 3/16" (5mm) on the diamond.
    • Brass, stainless steel or US10B dust box.
    • 8500 Series comes standard with a 1 1/4" wide faceplate.
    • 8600 Series comes standard with a 1" wide faceplate.
